What is the Illinois Mobile Homes Landlord and Tenant Act?
This Illinois state law sets the rules for renting mobile homes and lots in mobile home parks with five or more homes. It protects both tenants and park owners by defining their legal rights and obligations. 765 ILCS 745/1.
Exceptions:
The following are not covered by the Illinois Mobile Homes Landlord and Tenant Act:
- State or federal mobile parks
- Trailer park for recreation campers
- Travel trailers
