Survivor Crisis Fund for Survivors of Gender-Based Violence and Human Trafficking
The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence established the Survivor Crisis Fund during the pandemic to address critical gaps in the safety net for survivors of gender-based violence and human trafficking.
The application cycle for 2023 is currently closed.
Notes:
- This one-time funding will be available for survivors of domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault, and/or trafficking who reside in Chicago as a $1000 payment.
- Survivors must reside within the City of Chicago (or very recently fled from the City of Chicago) and must have a household income of less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
- If you or someone in your household has already received a $1000 cash assistance payment from The Network in 2023, you will NOT be eligible for these funds.
- You will be asked to upload documentation to verify identity, residence, and income.
- This will NOT be a form of emergency financial assistance. It may take two months or more for eligible applicants to receive the funds.
- The application form and link to it are new. Please do not try to use an old link. You must go to https://the-network.org/survivor-fund/ to access the new application form.
